Sure, there are many places that I have not had the opportunity to visit ….yet. But I can still suggest my top ten lists for visiting. In the meantime, here are my latest views on the subject. Some of these places are both other’s favourite places and worst places. Many are tourist traps, and if you are there for a weekend… don’t bother.
I would also like to add that I try not to visit during the high season. This may result in questionable weather, but it won’t be as crowded.
BTW None of these top ten lists are in any particular order.

10 Ten Places – Been There, Done That
- Malta (Perhaps because we were there at Christmas time and the weather was terrible. It was the first time it had ever snowed on record. That said, it is worth a visit or the geological sites.)
- Mallorca (Palma is so touristy for the Brits that it ruined the island for me.)
- Bangkok, Thailand (Remarkable country with friendly people and fabulous sites, BUT sweltering, humid weather, and we were there at the best time of the year!)
- Cairo, Eygpt (Not a safe place to visit if you aren’t with a male travel companion.)
- Jamaica (Unless you like being stuck in a resort.)
- Hobbiton, Hamilton, New Zealand (I wasn’t interested the first time, but I enjoyed it, but not four times. It was expensive but very well done.)
- Stonehenge, England (There are so many more impressive standing stones worldwide, and some very near to Stonehenge.)
- Las Vegas, Nevada, USA (Interesting the first time, but it soon becomes depressing even though I love to play blackjack.)
- Monaco (It’s nice to say you’ve been there, and it is pretty, but that is all I can say about it. The casino is out of reach for us lowly people.)
- Most beaches in eastern Florida, USA (crowds, commercialization and parties)
