I wouldn’t say I like the heat here, and it’s not even hot compared to what it can be in the summer. I have fallen in love with shaved ice; They’re way better than mai tais and perfect in this heat. They’re very popular here, and they are pretty good. It reminds me of the first time I ever experienced a snowcone at Expo 67 in Montréal. Today our goal was to walk along the beaches. Day 23 – The Great Sausalito
The Pretty Town of Sausalito Today we took the ferry across to Sausalito. It is rather quaint and another place for the tourist to visit. We took a bus from the central town to see the floating homes. This is something like the batches in New Zealand, except it’s far more extensive, and they called them arks. We stopped to see the ceiling and statue at the other end of town before catching the ferry back to San Francisco….
Day 13 – Greetings From Las Vegas

We walked north on the strip, popping into every casino to avoid the heat. We stopped at Eataly for breakfast. We visited Eataly a couple of times earlier in the year in New York City and enjoyed our experience. Our stroll continued to the Paris Casino, Venetian and Mirage. This is where the…

It is the right amount of sauce, so it’s not to go soggy but not too dry and falling apart. Is the sauce tasty enough? To make sure, should it have a bit of celery and onion? Then is all this put together with…
