Today it’s Chinatown. Louise‘s sciatica is acting up, and she’s in a lot of pain while walking. So we decided to see if we could get her a Physio appointment which is ridiculously expensive and difficult to find. But we’re in Chinatown!
We checked a couple of places, but they were all acupuncture and then we found one that did massage. These places seem a little dark and questionable, but I assure you they are very respectable. No one spoke English, so I took that as a good sign. While Louise had someone working on her back, I had a foot massage. Half of it was sheer heaven, and half was your piece. I loved it.
We then went through several streets to the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory. Yes, we did buy some fortune cookies. Since 1962, San Francisco’s legendary Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory has been making custom fortune cookies by hand.
Afterwards, we walked down past the financial district towards the waterfront and picked up a different cable car to head home.
Tomorrow we do the iconic districts.
