Today it’s Chinatown
Louise‘s sciatica is acting up, and she’s in much pain while walking. So we decided to see if we could get her a Physio appointment which is ridiculously expensive and difficult to find. But we’re in Chinatown!
We checked a couple of places, but they were all acupuncture, and then we found one that did massage. These places seem dark and questionable, but I assure you they are very respectable. No one spoke English, so I took that as a good sign. I had a foot massage while Louise had someone working on her back. Half of it was sheer heaven, and half was pure pain. I loved it.
We then went through several streets to the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory. Yes, we did buy some fortune cookies. Since 1962, San Francisco's legendary Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory has made custom fortune cookies by hand.
Afterwards, we walked past the financial district towards the waterfront and picked up a different cable car to head home.
Tomorrow we do the iconic districts.
