Another hectic day. We stopped off to see Wilson Arch by the side of the road before heading to the National Parks near Moab.
Our next goal is to visit Arches National Park. Reservations were no longer required, but the park was full, and we had to turn around. The sign said to try in another 3 to 5 hours.
So we decided to visit Canyons National Park 10 miles up the road. It took us about four hours to go through the Isle of Skye park area.
Wanted to be sure to see all Mighty 5 National Parks
It was now past 5:00 and a 45-minute drive up to where we stayed that night in Green River. But I didn’t want to miss seeing some of Arches National Park.
So we drove in to see the amazing rock formations, the delicate arch, and the sunset before heading out and driving in the dark to our hotel.
I’ve often said that camping for us is staying at a Holiday Inn Express. Green River that’s where we stayed, and it has been the best overnight place we’ve stayed at so far.
